Man, the roads where I live are getting so congested. It's a real pain trying to find enough room to have a nice drive with some satisfying flogging. When my son and I visited relatives in central Kansas, we had a blast. We rented a 2014 Coyote 5.0. We hammered that thing all weekend. Love the KS roads.

What are the roads like where you live?

They suck in town because tourist and old people don't know how to drive. Out of town it's flat straight open roads (lead foot)

Pot holes ,pot holes and more pot holes .For all we pay in registration fees it is a down right shame .The 99 will beat you to death . 65 has been repaved ...if you can call it that .They paved right over the ruts and the surface is like a grinder ,your car will follow the ruts and you will look like a drunk driver .I am still waiting to get a ticket on 65 for swerving and i am going to raise hell when it happens !!:fuss:

I see your location is Maryland...what part? I'm in the Annapolis area and the roads are pretty nasty here. Eastbound route 50 at rush hour going over the Severn River is no fun...all because people don't know how to maintain speed when going up an incline. And it just keeps getting worse. It's gotten to the point where it's not a matter of "if" you'll get caught in that traffic, it's a matter of how far you get before hitting the traffic.

But dont worry... The gubment here just passed more gas tax, and higher registration fees ........ to fix the roads with...... of course...

Ah, no kidding? I am right next door in Arnold. :)

And yes, even Ritchie Highway suuuuucks...

Here in southern Maryland, st Marys county, the roads are great....just watch out for deer.lol

I hear 301 and 5 can get nasty through Waldorf and such...I work with a guy who lives down there and his morning commute sucks.

Roads generally good here, but traffic is hell. I live just over 26 miles from work, in the evening I can ride my bicycle from work to home and only take 10-15 min longer than by driving. That's right folks, 26.4 miles in 1.5 hrs. by car. And I leave work at 4 pm. If I leave work at 5 pm add at least 45 min to the commute in a car. Needless to say I commute by bicycle mostly, it is less stressful by far and keeps me is some semblance of shape.

I'm south of Waldorf by about an hour. Route 4 is great asphalt wise. 235 up to Waldorf is good too. I don't even think of driving my car anywhere near 301. Lol. Unfortunately, I work on 301 but I've got a Ranger for that.

Holy crap. I cycle a lot and 26 miles isn't really that taxing but I couldn't imagine doing that after being at work all day.
