You know, it crazy annoying how many little rock chips show up on your car. Like is it just me or do other people know what I'm talking about? Like nothing big, just little small ones. Then I noticed a chip on one of my wheels today too, that must have happened on Saturday cause it wasn't there when i washed it then!! So that's really annoying. Russ and Joe, you have cars that are about 5 or 6 years old, how do you feel about your paint?

Mine has been repainted a couple times since I bought it, due to circumstances bewond my control. But the only place I notice them is on the lower part of the hood, and on the quarter panel scoop area.

I usually use a good swirl remover, then polish, then wax and mine "disappear" for a few weeks. Granted mine are mostly in the clear and not down to the primer or metal. Didn't notice them at last years show did you? They were there though.

I know how you operate with your cleaning stuff, cause I use the same things! I was just curious if other people have similar problems. Most people don't notice, we just know about them cause we clean are our cars and are all up close with them!

In my cars case, it is:

Mustang + Neighbour's cat = Annoying scratches.

The only scratches on my 05 is from the Neighbour's cat sun bathing on it. Now if I catch which cat it was, well... anyway the Neighbours have been warned.

Well I got rid of the majority of the road rash when I had my front bumper and hood repainted last year but the fenders do show some signs of it still. Not much you can do about it except put a bra on the car and I flat our refuse to put something that gay on my car.

Yip, I feel your pain:( . Out here in the sticks, most of my driving is highway and just from meeting big trucks and stuff I had alot of nicks on the front bumper and hood [stupid Manitoba still has gravel shoulders so alot of sand gets kicked onto the pavement] So after I had them repainted I went and bought one of those ugly bra things, I don't like it but I prefer that to repainting the front of my car every two years.:bang:

At the Sask Auto Show we're having this weekend in Regina there were some displays for that 3M clear cover things, those look like they might be something worth looking into at some point.
I'd like to see how they look, I'm sure they have to be better than the stupid bra thing.
