Roll cage install?

Hey all,

I know that one trip down the track is all its going to take for them to tell me that I need a roll cage at my local dragstrip. Has anyone ever installed one? If so is it a bitch or what?

I would imagine that you just rip out all the interior/seats/carpet and push it through the hatch/bolt it in and weld ect...

Also what cage did you end up going with and how much did it end up running you?

I had mine custom done. It's all chromoly with subframe connectors that run through the floor. Cost a little over $900 total.

I installed a 4 point roll bar in my 91. it isnt that hard. Just take your time.

yea, it is. I'm young though so i don't have a problem hopping in and out of it. I've gotten pretty good at it, but my girlfriend still seems to be able to do it faster than me, lol.
