I am using the Roller Bearing Idler that I got from cobra automotive...
I haven't noticed a difference (at least not a huge difference) and I am sure it's installed correctly. I was thinking of switching to the Moog idler arm if I can't get this better. Any thoughts ?

I'm surprised that you didn't notice much difference. I would not swap out the Cobra Automotive for another Moog idler arm - they are going to be very similar.

Here are a few other things that you can do to help decrease the steering effort of an early model's manual steering.

- Make sure your steering box is filled with grease.

- Replace your tie rod ends with hemispherical bearing rod ends (like the Baer Tracker Bumpsteer kit - http://www.streetortrack.com/Baer-T...r-1965-66-Ford-Mustangs-3261001-pr-17584.html

- Add roller bearing spring perches - http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com/rollerperch/
