Roller rockers and what push rods?

Hey are there any pedistal mount roller rocker arms that use the stock push rods? What roller rockers do you guys suggest?

sorry not to sure about the pedastal, p.r question but i recommend comp pro magnums and if money is tight crane energizers i had the cranes on my old combo put 40k miles on it w/400 rwhp and they still looked and functioned like new when i sold them.

I used the stock type 1.7 rr's from crane I believe (same as cobra rr's) and used the stock pushrods with no problem

I also recommend the Pro Magnums, work really great and you can send them back to get rebuilt.

But the only way to go is stud-mount with custom-length pushrods to get the correct tip travel accross the valve stem

Same here, they come with shims if you need them.

good point, yes the shims are very important, be sure to use the adjuster/measurement rod that comes with them (I believe I had to buy a roller rocker shim kit from summit for $8 now that memory serves me. With that, you'll be able to adjust as needed to allow for the stock rods. You'll know if it won't work with the shims, then that will tell you you'll need a longer/shorter pushrod (unlikely though if your motor has never been rebuilt b4)
