Ok used to own a 90 Foxbody and looking at picking up an 05 GT 5spd, do all GTs have posi rear ends

no im not a troll. i am seriously wondering if all 05 GTs came with a limited slip rearend. I am also a member over at corrall but there seems to be more knowledge of the sn197+ cars here

All GTs come with Limited Slip, which is different than a "posi" differential.

All V8 Mustangs since 1985 came from the factory with a Traction-Lok (aka posi or limited slip) axle with 8.8" ring gear.

thanks for the replies i was 99% positive it did but after looking at an 07 the dealer made it sound like it was an option which made no sense to me. ill be bringing home an 05 on saturday

the dealer was most likely talking about the gear options for 2007, that year 3.55's were an option unlike other years. stock was like 3.31 in 07.
