rough idle?

Sometimes when my cars idleing it will be fine for a few minutes, then all the sudden it starts idleing up and down between 900 and 1300rpm? Theres other times when it will idle fine? Its probibly just a bad sensor or something im just not sure which one?

need more specifics on your car. mods? aod or stick (aod's sometimes like to hunt unless the idle is set higher than stock 650).

things to check (good idea anyhow) are iac and tps setting. i would bet cleaning the iac might help if it is something maintenance wise that will be easily remedied.

sounds like the common surge deamon, first go through your vaccum lines and make sure they are hooked up correctly, no leaks. next look toward the egr.
