Hey guys, whats up...
Well I just got my car back up and running, got the timing set yesterday as well.
It runs fine, feels like it has power and drives pretty normally.
My one problem is the idle. It idles like its cammed, sounds pretty cool but it kinda surges too. If I come to a light it'll happen too. This morning it was pretty bad sounded like it was close to dying.
One thing I noticed is on the IAC valve...the connecter wouldn't fit with the new elbow adapter, I had to trim some plastic off of the side of the connecter, and it still isn't completely snug on there- but still making a connection.
So what do you guys think? IAC, EGR? No check engine light...should I pull codes for the heck of it? The IAC was never off of the throttle body. I probably still have some vacuum leaks to take care of, right now the ports are sealed off with electrical tape
