Roush Fascia question

After many problems I will finally be recieving my stage III fascia kit in a few days. For those of you who have done work like this did you find it necessary to test fit the fascia first or did you just get it painted and install it? I plan on doing all the work myself except for the paint.

I did'nt test fit mine, had them paint it and slapped it on. but it cant hurt though
