I hate to be this guy. But, I thought everyone should know. I bought the Roush TVS and the GT500 fuel system from JDM. I didnt get the bigger pulley, pushing 15 pounds, 515rwhp/488rwtq. Thought I could hold out for a little while before getting the P-51 motor, but my desire to smash the pedal to the floor overcame me. I blew the #5 rod out the side of the block on the stock motor. Please, everyone learn a lesson from me. If you get this setup, change the pulley.

After a very expensive bill, I am back on track with the P-51 motor. Got some new exhaust parts coming in and going back to the Roush kit instead of the Cervinis side exit kit. As soon as this is done, I will post the new HP/TQ numbers.

i'm glad you're back on track and the P-51 should give you years of
happy pedal mashing. from what i remember it has a lower compression ratio
and that will give you a little extra safety margin. keep the updates coming.

Have you looked at Brenspeeds $3499 302 stroker shortblock?

Has some very good parts in it and is lots less expensive than the Roush package.

And while you have it apart, throw some FRPP CNC ported heads in for good measure, if you look around a little you can pick them up for about $930 each.

End up making a lot more power than the P-51 for less $$$.
