RPM 2 Hood clearance?

Hey, does anyone know if the Performer RPM 2 will fit under a 96-98 cobra hood? I think I have just about decided to go ahead and get one of these, but as of right now don't want to put on the 5.5" extended cowl that I have.. I thought that the cobra hoods have a little bit more clearance for intakes don't they?

Why the RPM II? Do you have stock heads? You wont be able to use the extra RPM up top...

Anyway, i have never heard of clearence issues with the RPM II with a stock hood...so you should be good to go!

I'm going to be using AFR heads.. I was just wondering if the intake would fit under the hood...

If you are using 165 heads, then that RPM and RPM II will be a waste. Also, that cam is junk if you want to go with a setup consisting of the RPM series

I know that the intake is a bit much for those heads, but I plan on using 165's on this shortblock until it blows.. Then I am putting 205's, a Procharger F1, and a different cam in\on a 331... And I want to already have the intake... It may not be optimum for now, but it will serve a purpose in the near future...
