rpm's stay high till stop?

I'f im costing up to a stop light in neutral the rpm's stay a about 1200 till I come to a complete stop. Anyone know why?

clean MAF, TB and IAC with throttle body cleaner ($3 at autozone)

also, check vacuum leaks

The VSS and puter keep your rolling idle high like that - it is normal.

i didn't even read his post, i just glanced at the title

he's right, the idle will stay slightly higher than normal until you stop

totally normal bro, my car's sensors are immaculate and in perfect tune and it does this,

I'm glad some of you decided to come in otherwise I would be cleaning
everything like the first few post said. Thanks thought eveytone I thought it was ok but thought I would ask at least some of you got a good laugh at my expense

The ecu is programmed to do it - my wife's Bimmer does the same thing - idle speed is about 600 rpm; but it will hold at 900 rpm until you come to a stop, then it drops down.
