Rubber trim removal

Can anybody guide me on taking off the rubber pieces around the doors and windshield? What's the trick? Putty knife? Are they glued on? I would like to be able to reuse the trim running up the A-pillar and across the top of the door.

Pretty sure there called trim pieces.

The plastic molding that attaches to the roof has a couple of screws in the A-pillar and uses clips and some type of rubber gooey stuff to make it stick/seal. Your quarter panel window molding is attached to the glass. The windows are screwed in and have glue (that sticks really well) to help seal them. They are pretty easy to take off. Let me know if you need more help.
