Rumbled with a Cobra today...

I was on my way to work when I noticed some 40+ dude in a midnight blue vert on my bumper. I was just about to play when a cop pulled out in front of us. He backed off me and we all played it cool for a few blocks. He ended up following me to the I-5 onramp where we had to wait 5 minuets for a chance to merge. At this point I thought it was 99+ GT. So we get maybe a 3 CL gap in traffic and I squirrely my ass out and he jumps in behind me...OK let see if he can keep up so I go WOT as soon as I straighten out, I pull a little but he keeps up. I kill it after about 30 sec and stay in the right lane he catches up on the left with a huge grin and we both do a as he drives by. Then I see a big shiney COBRA on his bumper. hehe They are quick little bastards considering I've got 12.6ish car

Unless you've added a few new mods, not sure where you got 12.6 ish from..with slicks I believe your car saw a 12.9 pass a couple of runs during some nice cold weather months. low 13's were mainly what I saw it run even up to the wk before you bought it

I slapped on a Vortec Strim. I think thats why the rear seal started leaking. But what can you expect from a 185k motor right? Nickel is just jealous I spanked his ass over on chuckanut, so dont mind him...damn troll.....OK OK OK!!! I was guessing at the time from what people told me about the mods. What do you want from me I owned a Probe before this. For all I know it runs low 8's, I thought I was being conservitive. Anywho it was fun none the less. The guy was real cool about it, i just wish I wasent puffing blue smoke in his face going up the on ramp Everyone have a great 4th this weekend! Hope to see you all at Pony Trails!
