ok when i crank the motor up it runs good.....like with no load just sitting in my driveway it will come up through the rpms good. but once i get a load on the car it tends to cut out right when i get back on the gas from shifting. i was wonder what could be the cause for this problem.

thanks

Have you checked the fuel presure? How about the fuel presure regulator? You can buy a gauge and check the presure. Or just about any garage can do it for around $10.00. Or maybe the fuel filther.

as mentioned check your fuel system... also my na had tons of problems that immitated everything from a bad clutch to a blown motor that were always solved by a simple tuneup... when ever anything seemed funny with my car the first thing i did was go out to the parts store and get all new ignition components... solved my problem 99% of the time.

take advice from the turbo guys and just get your dist cap, rotor button, wires and plugs from ford, better parts and they last longer.

if none of this helps look at your TFI module as well, they can act up too.

Your TFI module is located on the side of your distributor. It looks like a little grey plug. From what I remember, this is the best description I can give you. It is not difficult to locate. There aern't many things plugged into the side of your distributor.
