Can anyone tell me where the access point is on the firewall to run gauge wires on a 2005 Mustang GT... I want to add gauges to my car and can't figure out where to run the wires through the firewall. Do I need to drill holes or is there a grommet to remove...

Thanks for your input... Dave

Remove the front driver's wheel, remove the fender line, and there is a grommet right there. I like to tape my wires to a long skinny screwdriver and put it through the grommet. Easy as pie!

Also one on the passenger side. Don't need to remove anything.

Thanks for the expert advice on firewall access

Thanks for the expert advice on running my gauge wires through the firewall on my 2005 Mustang GT. After reading everyone's reply, I decided that since I have an automatic, I will use the clutch pedal access door between the brake booster and the fender on the driver's side to run these wires.

No need to pull the wheel and fender lining for this one. Installation should be a piece of cake...

Thanks again for your responses...
