running rich

ive got to get inspected this month, and i know that im running rich. I can smell it, Even though i just have the stock cat pipe, and flows. I was wondering how i can adjust the mixture so that its not so rich.

How many miles are on your O2 sensors? Could be due for a replacement. I think they're only good for about 50,000 or so? Also, there are a few other little things you could do. Play with the TPS sensor, knock down your fuel pressure some, but these all affect the system differently.

What he said, O2's, fuel pressure, TPS voltage, and if your running a lower thermostat that will cause you to run rich because the car never heats up enough to run in the right mode. I believe 180 is the temp where the computer gives the timing and leans the fuel to give it more power.
