runs great when it runs

my car has been sitting for about a year. i just started driving it again so i did a major tune up; fuel pump, filter, plugs, cap, rotor, and got it running good. i then took it out to run a couple errands and 15 min in it shuts off at a light. i push it out of the road, wait 10 min and it starts right up. when it runs it runs great. but it seems when it reaches a certain temp. it just shuts off.
any ideas. how about the ignition control modual?
