S2000 Antenna on Mustang GT?

Has anyone put the Antenna from a Honda S2000 on a Mustang GT? I happen to have one sitting around and the threads wouldn't line up, but my friend is convinced hes seen it done? It'd look 100x better then the stock crap.

i got a pep boys 9 dollar universal antenna.. looks much better, lot shorter and same reception

screw it down your friend's throat.
if you tried it and it doesn't work, isn't that proof that it doesn't?

I vote for the 9 dollar Pep Boys unit, as well.

i chopped mine down to be flush with my roof height looks great still get good reception

i did the same thing and it looks just as good. Theres a good article on how exactly to do it on Mustangworld.com

i've heard of this too. Just get a cheapo one or cut yours.

Don't put HONDA ANYTHING on your Mustang.

I vote for the $7 autozone shorty antenna

It's simple to cut your OEM antenna. Just measure and mark where you want to cut it, remove it from the car, remove the ball from the top (probably the hardest part - it's just pressed on, but it's tight), cut it down to size, tape the new top and fit the ball on the top. If necessary, touch it up with flat black paint and attach it on the car. 15 min mod.

my friend did it on his gt. his mom has an s2000 so he has a bit of a soft spot for honda's. I think he used some sort of adapter to make it work, but here is a pic of his.
