I have a s281 spoiler on my GT and the break light is messed up. Some of the little light bulbs somehow broke and now when i break there are gaps between the lights. I took it off but it looks like you need to replace the whole light and not just the bulbs. Anyone know where can i get a light replaced and do i have to pull the cable out too and reconnect everything?

I believe it's an LCD type light, meaning the whole unit needs to be replaced. This was the same situation on my 2001 Camaro SS. Unfortunately the units usually aren't too cheap.

I had to replace the 3rd light on my 2000 S281 after I bought it also. Several of the LED's were broken. Ended up buying the complete light assembly from Saleen. IIRC, it was about $45.

*Edit - Installation advice: When you get ready to remove the light, unhook the wiring and tie a piece of kite string to the end. When you pull the light out, the string will come with it. Tie the string to the end of the wiring on the new light to help fish it back thru.

I assume the spoiler break light wiring goes to the rear break light kit. Where do i find the end of the wiring?

saleen just wired up their lights throught the stock wiring. you should find everything you need by popping the trunk and looking up in there. i redid all of my connections while i was at it.
