I looked it over and could find no signs of it being tampered with. I am actually probably going to keep it. I think I know the car. If memory serves me correctly I saw it at a cruise in in Bradenton Florida a few years ago. Looking it over there is no way someone rebodied the car. Too many things that are near impossibe to duplicate. I am thrilled with the car! I will have it at the show in Atlanta with the Animal. I may actually consider selling the other 99. If I do I will bring it along on the trailer!

Was it an Auto from the factory? Or did someone swap it over to an auto? If it was factory doesnt that make it more rare, for a Saleen S351 to have an auto option?

....no factory auto on any S351....PERIOD!!! Not even speical ordered. Some one spent alot of money to convert it over to AOD....

Someone did spend alot to have it converted. Whoever has worked on the car did a very professional job! It is actually a AODE in the car. Very expensive to build. Its being replaced with an original T-56 in two weeks. I did take the car out for a drive this morning. Its pretty strong. Not like my 96 but, it is a stock motor.

.....I say, leave the AODE in it and keep it has a strip car!!!! You already have the 2000 chasis S351 for cruising and shows plus the animal, have some serious fun with it!!

I'm going to keep this one also. Won't be selling any of the S-351's right now. I will be putting my race car and maybe a few others up for sale soon.
