Safe to run a 50shot of n20 while running 8lbs of boost?

You would more than likely need a tune for that. Factor in the cooling effect of the nitrous and your probably adding closer to 75 hp with a 50 shot.

I too would like to have some opinions on it, as I'm contemplating doing it one day as well.

Thing is, I'd be more hesitant with your car than with mine. An 03 GT on 8 pounds is gonna be making over 350 rwhp, and as said by Tim, a 50 shot is probably gonna be more like 75 with the boost, so you'll be well over 400 hp (the "safe" limit), especially if you have bolt ons as well. My car would only be at about 400, though, which is what I want.

I agree with Tim very much so in that I would DEFINITELY get a tune. You are going to be at the limits of the stock block, and the tune needs to be spot on to give a good chance of longevity.
