New to the site and would like thank everyone for their help. I just bought a new '06 GT that has the 18" wheel upgrade. They're the ones that look similar to chrome, but aren't actually chromed. I've been wanting to detail it properly and make the wheels shine as much as possible, but after looking on several polishes made for aluminum, I'm afraid to use them because most warn to not use on a coated metal. I know these wheels are coated somehow, so besides using regular wax, what would you recommend?

Also, I have an odd noise coming from the latch on my glovebox that is a small rattle. I hate to take it back to the dealership if anyone could suggest an easy fix, but its sort of annoying. Thanks

I have chrome wheels that are hard to polish by hand. They always have streaks and never looked bright. I switched to Mother's brand chrome polish (they have aluminum polish too) and used their Power Ball and the results are show car quality. Check their website out. www.mothers.com
