Sahara Beige or not?

My '66 was originaly Sahara Beige. I am contemplating returning it to it's original color. It has about 4 different paint jobs (from the prior owners) over the original paint right now. Only problem is I have never seen a car this color in person. The pictures I see on the internet don't enthuse me. Has anyone here seen this color in person and can give an honest opinion?

I have not seen one in person, either. This pic doesn't excite me tho.

Unless you have a rare model, keeping the original color is not going to be to be that big of a deal. If you want an original look, pick another original color. http://www.svs.com/users/zim/mustang/66colors.html

I agree with the Cap'n, you could always go to mmmmberglo, lol, but im a bit biased...

Looks kind of like the car is covered in shiny bondo.

I agree. It kind of looks like polished primer.

The car is nothing rare. C code automatic, standard interior. The only options I can recall are the two speed wipers.

Ok so now I have to decide between Emberglo, Antique Bronze, and Ivy Green. I am guessing the Antique Bronze would be more forgiving with less than show quality body work.
