Probably 3K for prep, paint, and install. From what I head its not easy, so get a great body shop but be prepared to pay for it.

I would have already made a Saleen clone if it were not for the ****ty quality and therefore expensive body man charge.

I am having it done right now actually, hes charging about 2k for everything. I couldnt find anywhere else anyway. The Ford dealers only install Roush. Hopefully this kit is one of exceptional quality. It did look pretty darn good. They dont pre drill holes, or sand it down perfect, but I think in the long run its worth the money if thats what your going for.

For paint and prep, I paid about $1500 and $810 for installation.

i have to say this tho.

Like everyone else who deat with Saleen stuff, it was nightmare in term of fit and finish. mainly due to release agent they use for their mold.
Bodyshop have got to degrease the hell out of it, ot else you'll have nagging issue with paint bubbling, pealing and such.
I spen almost 2 years to get my spoiler right(and 3 separate paint jobs)

BUT Urethan they use is actually the best quality urethan. better then some OEM stuff IMO. Saleen stuff WILL look great after you spent enough time and money on it like i did.

installing saleen kit is actually not that hard. there are alot of things u can do to save money on Saleen stuff if you think about it.

U do the install - save yourself almost $800 right there. It took me about a day to install my Roush kit. Front bumper, side thingie, side pipe, rear valance. Saleen would take little longer as it needs to replace the entire rear bumper. But still no more then a weekend - if next selection is done before hand)

U do the prefit - did this myself on my roush kit. Granted, it was pretty good fit, i picked up few spots that needed an attention(mostly on front bumper), which i fixed it myself(Small amount of bondo with flex additive)

U do the prep - What makes Saleen stuff so hard to work with is the fact they come stright out of mold. with release agent still on the serface. Several can of degreaser, file and sand paper and orbital sander is all u need to prep it right.
As far as my kit goes, it took about 2 - 12oz can of degreaser, and about 4 hours to sand, prefit, mark, take it off, apply bondo, then sand then re fit.

Only thing I paid someone to do was actual paint job itself. To paint everything (Bumper, 2 side pieces, 2 rear valance and S281 spoiler) cost me $200. This is local Ford dealer who originally quoted me $1200 to prep and install the kits, not including side pipe kits. I ended up spent another saturday installed everything.

I heard people paid up to $2000 to prefit, prep, paint bodykits. I lough at them all the way to the bank.

Its really not that hard to do. AND this was first body kit prep I've ever done.

Little elbow grease goes LOOONG way.

I think i got the best deal in town on my saleen install. it was 2300 painted and installed including stripes and badges. That was for the following parts, steeda q400 hood, front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, 3 piece wing and side scoops. Car looks so sick now people always And btw it looks better than factory!
