Roush saleen brakes and brake dust

Quick question about you guys with the saleen/brembo 13 inch brakes. Do you guys get really horrid brake dust really quickly? My 2002 S281 didnt have the saleen brake option, but i just bought them and had them installed. I have white wheels which makes it worse, but in 2 days they are black. What a pain in the ass this is. Does everybody have this problem? I was thinking about getting different pads, can you swap the pads without pulling off the calipers? Any recommendations on different pads?

I have tried almost every pad for the Saleen/Brembo 13" which you have and the Alcon set up. From Porterfield to everything else the pads that felt as fadeless as the brembo (stock ) pads .... the absolute best for low, low dust are the Hawk pads. Hands down the lowest dust and equal stopping power for the Brembo 13" setup with slotted rotors.

Thats what i was thinking about going with, the hawk pads. Which ones do you recommend going with? I've also heard that you can swap out the pads super easy without pulling off the brembo calipers. Is that true? Do they just pull out of the top of the calipers?

You are correct. I just use the largest flathead screwdriver with some duct tape on the end to compress the piston back in.
I actually prefer the porterfields on the Alcons. The hawk pads are cheaper and throw less dust on the Brembo set up with R4S a close second. Both stop the same.

I just put the porterfield R4-S pads on mine, I can already tell a major difference in dust. The original pads were aweful, with Barts recommendation I can agree that the porterfields definitely are low dust. I can't wait to see how they perform on the track. I hope as good if not better then the stock brembo pads.
