Saleen Hood - Problems

Hey guys .. i just bought a Original SALEEN Hood off a member here ...

problem is it got damaged during shipping - due to lack of packing !!!

it got Damaged at 2 corners , there's crack's on each end .... on the rear of hood.

do you guy's now if it's repairable ???

it's made of " fiberglass "

please post your thought's and if you think the guy should chip in on repair's ?

Was it shipped insured?

Guy I work with bought a truck cap that was damaged in shipping. He got to keep the cap and got enough $$ to have it repaired.

a fiberglass orginial saleen. I didn't know those 2 went together.

Most bodyshops can fix anything for the right amount of money. Some won't want to bother with it, others will so just do some looking around your area for a good bodyshop and good luck. If your bringing the hood to show them dont' forget to bring the peices that broke off. If not, make sure you get some good pics to show them with the peices.

Find a shop that does Corvettes.
Piece of cake for them.
