This will be the very first time this new Saleen will be shown to the public and it is happening at Mustang Week. Below is the press release that Saleen has sent out to the automotive world! I think saleen is going a bit overboard with all the renditions of the new mustang.

For 40K, a mustang should run with a stock corvette, and i'm sure this one, like the other 50 tuner mustangs out there, still loses in all catergories.

I thought the standard S281 was supposed to be the "affordable" & "entry level" Saleen Mustang?

Then they introduced the H281 Heritage Mustang as the "affordable" & "entry level" Saleen that wasn't really a Saleen Mustang.

Now they introduce the Racecraft Mustang as the "affordable" & "entry level" Saleen that isn't really a Saleen Mustang.

Does anyone else detect a pattern here?!?

Hate the racecraft decal, the little fender one on the mustang would of done fine.

It seems like it's a decent car, and for an SC'ed mustang, quite the value (when compared to what else you can get that is a worked mustang).

Would i pay 38k for it? No, but when you add up the cost of the suspension, SC, SC install, and the fact that you get to keep the warranty, it makes the car a very fair deal.
It's only a few thousand more (and with mark up maybe even) with a shebly gt.
