I just got my saleen kit prepped and painted and everything seems to be in order, except for the wing installation instructions. I have an 04 mustang, and purchased the 99-00 saleen wing. I know I need to drill holes for the new wing, I already had the body shop fill and paint the old spoiler holes, as well as shave the badges on the trunk. So what I would like to know is if anyone has step by step instructions for installing the 99-00 wing on a 01-04 mustang. I'm aware lots of double sided tape, and adhesion promoter already on hand. I can probably make it up as I go along, but I'm concerned with pine needles and other crap getting in between the wing and the trunk. Anyone tried any gasket material or anything around the edges of the wing? Thanks for your help. I'll be posting pics soon on another thread when I get everything installed.
