Salt/Pepper Shaker Recall 91E19 (10 pin wiring harness) causing check engine light?

My car has the same problem as well. And I just looked and I have the recall sticker on my fan shroud. I'm also getting a 41 and 91 code on the koer test. Already changed the o2 sensors. I will be trying this this weekend!

OK I am not exactly sure which one needs thrown out. I re-uploaded my picture, but I labeled it with numbers (1-4). What piece needs to get tossed, and which piece do I actually adjust/clean the pins?

Unplug all 4 and toss the center peoce with the zip tie. The other ends are attached to the car, so they won't go anywhere. It might be easier to remove 3 and 2 off the tan clip that holds them to the intake and let them lay loose

Plug 4 into 2 and 1 into 3, but you should clean both ends first

I did remove the extension.. Still check engine light intermittently. This is a toughie..

Next thing I am doing is changing the O2 sensors. They are 21 years old anyways. I ordered Motorcraft, and they should be here Friday.

Thanks again for everyone's help. This wasn't the check engine light culprit, but I may have saved myself some pain in the future by removing the extension..
