Salvage Titles...

Dont Do it. Chances are very high it is a big mistake statistically. I did this once. The problem is that the odometer reporting is not required to be accurate even if you find out what happened to it. Lots of times it is a replaced engine that is not as good.

the front had a tree fall on it... he has pictures and stuff... he owns a body shop... he said tis been through the salvage inspection... but the title says status S still... does this mean i have to go through the salvage inspection again... or just the normal inspection

the car fax backs up his story... i just dont wanna have to go through salvage inspection again... im bidding on the car on ebay and he said he would end it early for $3200.... But im winning it for $2500 and it ends in 50 minutes... i think im just gonna wait it out... see what happens.. car sounds good and runs great... i drove it about 20 miles today... let go of the wheel no weird vibration or swirving... so the frame is probally ok... the car looks great... check it out..

I won the focus on ebay for $2865... i guess ill figure this all out... it seemed to drive great... but i have bad luck.... i really loved how the car handled... i think thats what won me over... i could never see my self buying a salvage car...

Selling the saturn... ive always wanted a focus... i might hold on to it for a few more weeks.... she is still tunning good... there is some little things wrong with it that gets on my nerves... spedo is off by 3mph.... window doesent go all the way up... it stops 1/2 inch from the top unless you push out on it... and the sun roof is broke.... I figure with all the work done on it i can get like $2200

if you got an actual title for the car you shouldn't have to have it inspected.

Every state is different but most of the time after it's been inspected once after it was totaled and retitled it doesn't have to be done again!

Hope it works out for you! :nice:
