Sand bags in trunk for snow?

If you have snow tires, don't put the sand. Our cars are heavy-assed enough.

Just get some SNOW TIRES, cheap or otherwise (Blizzacks, of course, are best)


With all that sand, watch your cars gas milage go way down, and it will handle like crap. Not to mention, yeah, its not good for the suspension...

I already have yokohoma snow tires and it made it so much easier to drive, but just wanted some weight over the rear tires.

well, I have Pirrelli P Zeros... not exactly made for snow

-would I bennefit from some more weight in the trunk? it is my daily driver, and we have 3" here now...

-or, I could just get a kick-A$$ sound system w/ some huge subs... that would weight it down a bit
