Santa came early to my house

And left these beautiful things for me.

A little bit of polishing here and there and they be ready to go. Has anybody tried the sealant that Zoop makes? I'm wondering if it might be a good idea once polished that a sealant would be a good thing. Once installed, they would be pretty hard to keep nice and neat.

You may be in for some trouble using those

Actually there is a major problem with those when used on a G.T.350H clone. Something to do with "Oxidants" and "reverse osmosis" when used in combination with the steel reinforced fiberglass hood, from what I've heard.
PM me for my...uh, I mean, a return address to send them to. Freight pre-paid of course.:D

beautiful work. They should really look good in your car. And yes definitely clear coat them if they are not all ready. Just double check, they may have been clear anodized, which is plenty good to stave off corrosion.

Oh, and, I am now officially envious. :nice: Santa won't even slow down, let alone stop, around here. :bang:

nice hinges! galvanic corrosion (from dis-similar metals)... make a paper gasket for the hood to hinge contact and use stainless hardware...
santa stopped by my place too! he dropped an auburn pro posi center chunk with a 380 gearset for my 8" to go with my new AOD. Santa has been very good to me!

Wow, thanks for telling me, I had no idea these might cause a problem. PM me with your address and I'll ship these out overnight, I want them as far away as possible from my hood. No problems like that for me, no way.

By the way, do you have any land for sale in Florida, or a bridge in Brooklyn perhaps?

Santa is coming. I'm not supposed to know but today some new frame rails and a dropped crossmember showed up on my front porch. Since the only 65 mustang at my house is mine, i guess they must be for my car. Dang, now I have to wait for christmas so I can take out the old ones and put in the new.
