I thought it was weird that nobody posted how the Dyno Day at MPS went. I was bummed I didnt get to go. I havent talk to Tyler K. for awhile, would have been a good excuse. What really sucked was seeing all you guys cruising up there going northbound as I was going south (to work ).

TylerB, if im not mistaken that was you sitting on the overpass just south of Stanwood (thought you were a cop at first). I would have turned around to B.S. for a minute but had an early dyno. That and I saw the caravan-o-mustangs at about Smokey Point. Wouldnt have been a very long conversation.

Anyway, how was it? Anybody take pics?

LOL

Yea, I was sitting up there waiting for the group to pass by. Good stuff .. it's funny how many cars I saw get on the brakes in the amount of time I was up there. Interesting because I had someone call me as they saw me up there on their way to work northbound.

Most of the folks at the dyno were from SVTP, I think I'm one of the few who frequent SN.

Tyler, very cool. Thanks for the links. I do really need to get up there. Seeing those pics reminds me its been awhile. Really cool to see my buddys old 80 cobra. That thing is an absolute monster now.
Did you get a chance to talk to them at all? They do some damn impressive stuff.

Just wanted to say thanks for everyone that showed up that signed up, and the few that signed up and didnt show, THANKS.

Alot of people thought that it was a long trip. As all will agree, its one of the best shops around.

Where abouts are you from, the marysville area or anything? Did you make it up to MPS? I am assuming that you know them regardless, however they are a great bunch of people. Its just that Marysville Speed Didnt give me a warm and fuzzy...

Rick, Im actually from Mt Vernon but i work at Marysville Speed. I didnt make it to MPS for the Dyno Day although I did see you guys going northbound and was wishing I wasnt going to work. But anyway I do know the MPS crew. Once upon a time I almost went to work up there. I sometimes wish I would have but thats a story for another day.
As far as Marysville Speed making you feel unwelcome. All I can do is apologize and ask for another chance. I would ask what gave you that feeling but in the end it probably wouldnt make a difference. First impressions are important and Im sorry yours wasnt a good one.

MPS rocks, They had a great attitude and were all buissness and found the time to play around at the same time. I would recomend them to anyone. The drive was a little long but worth it. As far as the actual Dyno, I was pretty happy aside from the oil leak I found out about on the Dyno. 393rwhp and 377tq from 5psi is nice but all I can think about is what can I do for 400 at the back tire. Cool place and great people that showed up Thanks goes to Rick for setting this up.

Well I got a sour taste in my mouth, because when I first got the car almost 2 years ago, I went and dynoed about 6 months after I got the car, and my A/F readings were all out of whack, and Marysville speed aka little monsters wouldnt redyno me, and I was doing this so I could get tuned. I didnt feel comfortable with the dyno operators either, they didnt know the software that well and couldnt get my my run files on a disk, and they promised to email them to me and never did. I dont know how long you have been working there, or If I met you last time, but its nothing against you personally, maybe...lol.....
