Saw the new 05 Stang

The coolest feature on the car was that when you open the door the window drops just a hair, and when you close the door it instantly goes up to create a tight seal. I know it's kind of corny, but I thought it was cool.

Ya, I noticed that the new Vette does that too. Pretty slick, and almost subtle enough that you might not even notice it. :nice:

I haven't seen one yet. :notnice:

BMWs do that. :nice: i wish my vert did it.

The 05's are running all around my town.. The localer deal sold out his 3 V6's within 2 hours of getting them..The other dealer has a couple GTs. Then the GT's came a week later, they also sold out quickly..

Ive seen a sonic blue one ( sharp) light blue, yellow, dark shadow grey looking one, and the dark red.

Weve had them running around for a couple weeks now

Saw a dark red GT earlier this week at the dealer. I think the Bullitt wheels look better than what was on the magazine cars. Very sharp car with clean interior lines. IMO, the large driving lights in the GT grille make the front end look aggressive. I also like the faux gas filler cap on the rear. While this Stang clearly relies on styling cues of the late 60's early 70's Stangs, you got to give Ford credit for advancing the design.

The Mustang is the only model of car (except maybe the Porsche 911) that you can see aspects of the original "DNA" in. Line up every generation of Stangs and you will clearly see the development of the car.

ok,, im pissed the new motor looks like a damn ls1.! Throttle body in front, and stupid intake!! woah ford is like chevy now, i guess that was why ls1's were so fast.
Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Didn't think so...

If you want to feel good about your 5.0L, go compare an old LT1 (or any other SBC 350) to a 5.0L, and then compare an LS1. The LS1 has a layout far more similar to a SBF than the old SBC ever did. But who cares?
