Ok I researched old threads and I am conviced to buy a scattershield with my Tremec TKO. I am not sure which on to buy. I am looking at a Ford universal one through Summit.

Any opinions on which one?

I used that one. It worked and fit fine. You may be able to find it cheaper though and have summit price match.

I got an SFI McLeod one from D&D Motorsports when I did my Tremec and I think it was cheaper than that. Might want to check it out. It is a good idea to get one though especially if you plan on tracking the car or turning high RPM's.

I checked D&D and they have them priced for $449.00. The Ford one was the cheapest through Summit for $339.00. Do you guys know of any were I can get one cheaper?

Go $80 more and get a Quicktime. It's half the weight and I heard it allows more room for long tube heads.

I got the Cobra R bellhousing with my TKO 600. It's good until you dip under the 11:50 1/4 mile.

I like the quick time. A little pricy but seems to be the lightest and will clear long tubes as well.

Can I use my stock shift fork with these scattershields?
