I got a set of Cobra R's today from a guy off craigslist for $280 with Pirelli tires. I know they're nothing special but I think my car looks a lot better with these than pony's and plus I got these for an awesome deal.

yea that was my first thought. the car looked a lot lower with the ponys but it sits up higher now with the bigger wheels.

That's an insane deal. You could sell the Ponys for 300 around here.

The lower profile tires also add to it. Same thing happend when I went from 16's with 55 series tires to 17's with 45 series tires.

it wont ride bad at all with 1 coil cut off, thats what i usually do, i had 1050lb springs in my 98 and 500lb in the rear, that setup would handle like a boss, but it rode harder than a skateboard, now i have 01 gt springs, cut 1 coil, with no iso's and its lower and will actually grab traction..

Just curious, how many cut springs have you driven on?

I cut one coil off all around on my last mustang, and drove it for almost a year. Rode like it did when it was stock height.
