Scratches in Glass

Is there any way to remove scratchs from door glass, windshields. They are light scratch that have occured over the years so I was wondering if there are compounds or something I can do to remove them. Just exploring some options other than new glass. Ideas?

Check out Eastwood, they have some good products for scratches, I really need to do my windshield as something was stuck in the wiper and scratched mine.

cool, I'll see what they have. Looks like most of the fine scratch are from removing window tint w/ a razor blade. Nothing deep just some fine surface scratch that have been bothering me.

Car craft thsi month just had an restoration tip about restoring old glass. They suggested eastwood too. Comes with a fine compound and a drill attachment.

Probably close. I think a new windshield is like 300 itself.

Thats because you dont have the hookup a new windsheild is 175 installed at mesko.. I know this because i punched enough out.. Your quarter windows are the most expensive like 600 for a brand new pair.

I could of gotten it done for $120 down the block.. but these guys seemed more reputable for an extra $20

How do u get the trim around the front and rear windows off without damaging them?

There is a special tool available to pull them off without bending them up.
Last time I looked, 50resto had em.
