Every person who pays ANY mark-up is part and parcel of what is wrong with the US "money-grabbing mark-up" system. If NOBODY paid it then the prices would be the manufacturer's price. So these people are to blame for fuelling the stupidity of the system but at the end of the day, it's self-inflicted.

The Shelby GT500 MSRP is around $42k.I work in a Ford Dealership in the service dept. and get all the new cars in from the plants.The dealership pays $4k - $6k less than the MSRP.Not sure what they get sold for though.Couldn't be too much as this is supposed to be rated the largest and best selling Ford dealership in the Southest US.

But a $65k markup....Now that is just ridiculous! What drugs is this dealer on? .............And I thought the $50K MSRP of the Foose Stang was ridiculous........
