I am planning to install the SCT Micro Tuner's performance tune, and I downloaded a copy of it's manual and it says that I must remove the fuel pump fuse before installing a performance tune. Does anyone know where the fuel pump fuse is located on a 2001 Mustang GT Convertible? And once I find it, do I just pull it out and put it back in after the performance tune is installed?

I sold my Predator a while back, and I didn't have to remove the fuel pump fuse, does anyone know why the SCT's Micro Tuner requires its removal?

I THINK it's fuse #14, but double check the owner's manual. The fuel pump fuse must be pulled to keep power drain to a minimum - if the battery voltage drops too much during flashing, your EEC will die. We always hook up a battery charger to the battery too - we never want the EEC to die during a flash. It's very unlikely that it will happen, but why take any chances,
