Why? I would maybe use STP only for moisture removal because of ethanol . No carbon yet . I gave up on that stuff after it ate my fuel pump and I couldnt figure it out and it cost me $400.00 bucks......Welcome to Stagnet and keep coming. Edit: I like it in my lawnmower and pressure washer.

Check your trunk, under the carpet. All 2010+ Fords with the capless filler neck come with a small white funnel for emergency fill-up. If yours is missing, Walmart carries a yellow replacement.

Seafoam couldn't have done that, it's not chemically capable of it. It's naptha and isopropyl alcohol.

Your pump more than likely failed over time due to the modern ethanol-enriched fuels our government has forced upon us. The ethanol is corrosive, and eats fuel pumps and other fuel system components over time when they're not designed for it.

No Xylene.

What brand of pump are you installing in your Tacoma?

The shop I hang at has very limited success with parts house off brand fuel pumps. They try to put factory pumps in whenever possible.

This.

Airtex, Master, and Spectra fuel pumps and sending units pretty much suck. The failure rate for them in both my personal and professional history is about 50% in the first year of use. On top of that, they're frequently assembled incorrectly and need to be re-clocked or otherwise modified to fit (I especially hate the GM applications that they ship with a cut-and-splice retrofit pigtail to make their product work).

I only install the factory part, or a Bosch or Denso pump when doing stock replacement, or a good brand like Walbro, Aeromotive, or Holley for an EFI performance application. For carbureted applications I install either the Jegs or Summit pumps for stock-to-stock-ish fuel systems, or an Edelbrock or Holley for an upgraded fuel system.

Sticking to that has served me well.
