i have an 04 GT, and i read you can use the PCV valve to pour it in there. so i poured a little in there but the car revved up to 3K RPM's on its own while i was pouring it in there.

anyone have any pictures of where they poured their's in on their mustang? obviously....the 04 as you guys know doesnt have an actual brake booster....so hence there being no tube to pour it into.

any help is much appreciated

None of the 99-04's have a brake booster. Our cars run off hydraboost/hydroboost, however its spelled.

Use the PCV valve hose as you did, pouring it in so it gets sucked right into the plenum. If I remember right I actually had to hold my idle up - the car wanted to die from the massive vacuum leak. Not sure why yours would jump to 3k, but that is character of a vacuum leak.

well what i did was, instead of pouring it into the hard plastic tube.... i pulled the tube off the rubber elbow that enters the plenum, and poured it through that way.

maybe for some odd reason it needs that longer plastic tube for it to not jump up to 3K. it scared the crap out of me b/c i have your typical off road H pipe/catback setup and my face was right in the motor....it was so loud. haha

thanks for the input
