seafoam

I'm sucking the foam in through the break booster hose, do i disconnect the hose from the break booster or do i disconnect it where the hose meets the plastic fitting to the right of it.

disconnect it from the brake booster, also give it a little gas while sucking the seafoam thru!!!!!!!!!

alright, i got it in, let it sit about two hours and then took it for a spin. I set up the drive-cam while i did it so i'll show you guys a vid of the smoke results when i get it on the computer lol

Haha, I just seafoam'ed mine before I changed the oil and damn did it smoke! It's even better than burning the tires off

most autostores have it, i bought one can from Oreily's for 6.50 or something like that.

hey i got a can. where is the break booster hose? and did you do 1/3 booster, 1/3 gas/ 1/3 oil?

You are only supposed to let it sit for 5 minutes. I think afdter that the stuff it eats up has time to settle back.

I used almost the whole can in my brake booster, and another can in the gas.

well i used to whole can and its smoked like everyone said it would. i also think it idles alot smoother. still have to clean the maf. thanks

yeah i actually read the instructions for it from some transam website, they recomended about two hours before starting it up...


I did a half a can because i only could afford one can when i was at the store lol and then i did another half can in the gas tank...



Btw, if you do it in your oil i read you should change your oil about 500 miles later. I just changed mine so i'm holding off on seafoaming the oil tank.

lol, whatever gets you moving... i think i went past my oil change date about 2 months before my last one.
