Searching for 96-98 Cobra

Going to trade/sell my 03 GT to buy a 96-01 Cobra, looking for one with a blower already installed and plan on working on it heavily from there. Basicly i have been reading about the 03 GT for the last year and know plently about the 4.6 but not much about the 96-01 cobra specificly. Im looking for any and all info i can possibly get on this vehicle and want anyones opinion/recommendations on the vehicle. I heard there was a problem with overheating in the 96 cobra, anyone have any more info on this problem or any others? Thanks in advance, just want know make an informed buy this time, when i bought the gt i knew nothing about the car..

I haven't had any overheating problems, but it doesn't get nearly as hot here as it does in AZ. Get the vin # and go to the ford dealer and see if it's had the fix. Also, mine jjust had a recall done on the e-brake, free fix from ford.
