yea, I looked at their website also, but its not the same as their stores. In the store their 1/2 torque wrench is like 30 bucks, and on the site it says its like 75 bucks but 40 after its reduced. If I can get it on sale, the one I want is the digital torque wrench. With the little screen on the handle. That one was like 100 bucks in their store, for 50 bucks ill pick that up no problem. That one may be out of stock by the time i get there though, ill be looking at their chests, I dont think those will be out of stock.

ahh they have a certain time? That sucks, I wont be up till like 12, their website dosent say anything about it.

my buddy is waking me up at 8, so I wont miss it hopfully.

but on the website it says "save 50% off these great tools"

and there's only 13 tools listed...one being a 3/8in drive craftsman torque wrench for $37. I'd like a torque wrench, i dont really care if its a digital one or not really..

im wondering if its 50% off ALL tools in store or just these selected...i'm guessing the store isnt very different from the site but i'm gonna stop in anyhows seeing as its on the way home tomorrow morning

I bet there gonna have sales everywhere, the 50% is probably just on those listed 13 items.

yea, im not going tomorrow, if the sale is just on those items, i found the torque wrench I wanted on the site and it still says 110 bucks, so id rather not wake up at 8am for nothing.

Could you imagine if it was the whole tool section. That would have been nice.

talk about "black friday" becoming more of a "guy thing"

the women get like 75% off all their crap...my girlfriend, mom, sister, etc. are all gonna come home tomorrow with minivans full of junk that was "on sale"

if they put all tools on huge discount...geez every guy would be camping outside the local hardware stores and trampling over eachother to get to what they want early in the morning.

You didn't read the fine print...you ALWAYS need to read the fine print.

As others have pointed out, its a great deal on 13 tools, not all of their tools. Different products have different margins, no company no matter what holiday no matter what sale is going to sell a huge quanitity of their merchandise near or below cost. They might as well just give you money straight out of their pockets.

I hate those specials... my bank account suffers. Here in Canada we have Canadian Tire which also has very good tools, in fact the "Maximum" series are just rebranded Snap-on... I bought an expensive torque wrench last week 1/2 off! My first engine that I built for myself I had no torque wrench so I had to "eyeball" everything LOL Not a good thing when bolting on main caps and such lol The engine lasted all summer and started to knock in the fall
