Seat belt BS

Man.. Ok, I have an 04 Cobra that turns heads and runs about a 11sec in the Q. However, the car is a piece of ****. The internals are a jacked up... things breaking and making noise.. I wish I had that LS1 still..


Does anyone have a good link to fix the seat belt retractor? or know how much they cost at Ford?

there was a TSB about the issue, there is a kit that mods some of the components in the system for around 50 +/-

Ford part number YR3Z-63611D70-AA for the Mustang. It is a kit with Teflon tape to improve the retraction speed of the seat belt. Common problem with many Fords. However, check the build date of your car. This TSB may not apply. Good luck.
