Seat Broke Please Help!

Ok.. Im driving down the road and I lean back a little get my wallet out. POP my seat now rocks back and fourth. When I hit the gas I fly back. When I hit the breaks I fly forward. Has anyone else had this problem? I didn't see anything broke by looking under it with a flashlight. I guess ill rip it out one day and see what I can find.

I don't know if it is any comfort, but that is a reoccurring story, and with many other types of cars too. The driver leans back to get out his wallet and SNAP, something in the seat back breaks.

Isn't there a piece you can remove to make it lean all the way back? Maybe that part came loose

Mine dxid this on my 94 and my 99. on the 94 I actually broke the seat rail and had to weld it back together. On the 99 where the seat meets the rail/power assembly one of the screws pulled out. I just replaced it with a screw and nut that took care of it
