Seat covers

I currently have the delux front buckets in my cobra (large squares with straps and buttons). Anyway I am sick of the damn buttons poping off, so I want to change the covers to the standard vinyl pattern. My question, is the foam the same between the 2 patterns? or do I need to start looking for some decent standard seats?

I got tired of looking for new seat covers and just pulled a pair of Escort seats out of the junkyard for $70. The color would be perfect if I had a blue interior.
