I thought about the Corbeau CR1's but luckily I sat in them before purchase, they are way too small for me at 5'11" - 175 lbs, the shoulder area especially. Maybe check to see if they make a larger version.

I ended up with Arizen seats (www.customracingseats.com), fully reclines, leather with adjustable lumbar and brackets for less than $600 a pair. I fit in them alot better than the CR1's and they were cheaper than the vinyl verson of the Scats, plus everyone has those Scats and I wanted something unique.

I would definately recommend removing your stock seat platforms as your steering wheel will be grinding on your knees especially at 62. I removed mine and sit at a good height with the Arizens, just have to weld a piece of plate in for structural and fastening purposes.
