seatbelts can save lives

just wanted to tell everyone please where your seatbelts. i lost one of my best friends on saturday november 10, 2007 because he wasnt wearing his seatbelt. he was driving hit a curb and lost control of his truck and hit a covert in a ditch. so everyone plz be safe and wear them. just think of the loss your friends and family members will have.

Sorry for the loss I know alot of people dont like it but I think Ford had a good idea where their newer cars keep making that dinging noise untill you put it on.

that dingie thing is the first thing to go when i buy a new vehicle. with the xterra i just unpluged the harness under the seat

the wifes honda will never shut up unless you have a belt on

That's too bad Belts save so many lives. Whenever anyone gets in my car I make them buckle up before going ANYWHERE.

yea i know that lil dingy thin is a PITA, but it does its job. i do feel really wierd when i dont wear it. but my lil bro would have died in an accident if it wasnt for the seatbelt and i hope this will teach him to slow down and drive safer. thanks for all the support. and i did go and get my tat for him and my old best friend

My life was saved by a seatbelt in the seat of a mustang (go figure) about 3 years ago in december...

I posted about this a while back, but long story short, my friend was driving his 95 gt and trying to race an EVO on a 2 lane freeway, needless to say he lost control at 120mph, we hit a guardrail sideways at 110mph, flew 150ft off an embankment falling 55ft and landing upside down, we both lived and no one else was hurt, he just about walked away while i broke my neck and back in 3 places, and was in a neck brace for 4months of my senior year of high school... and yes i had to tell this story 4,000,000,000times for why i was wearing that neck brace.

I cant pull my car out of the garage without my seatbeat..

Oh and if your wondering Yes i did buy a mustang after the crash and no i didnt own one before, but the reason i have one.. is that everytime i get into it, I get scared and I remember that night..it also makes me not drive like an idiot trying to show off (very much ), because thats how people get hurt or killed.. trust me.. i lived it and saw that light at the end of the tunnel...

I got to start wearing my seatbelt, I always did till I became a cop and now with all my gear on I never do, and its carried over to my daily driver.....sorry for your loss....

I see no good reason not to wear a seatbelt, personally. It's stupid not to.
